Offline Secret Santa – How It Works

Offline Secret Santa is perfect for groups that meet in person and want to run their draw together, spontaneously and playfully.
Instead of pulling slips of paper out of a hat, you spin the digital Wichtelrad – fair, random and entertaining.

1. Start offline mode

• Select “Offline Secret Santa” in the app
• Add all participants with their names

2. Add participants

• No accounts are required
• All data stays local on the device and is never stored

3. Prepare the wheel

• Check that every participant has been entered

4. Spin the wheel

• As soon as everyone is ready, the digital Wichtelrad is started
• The wheel picks a person at random
• That person sees their Secret Santa recipient straight away on the screen

5. Repeat the rounds

• The wheel is spun again until every participant has been assigned a recipient
• No duplicates and no invalid draws

6. Wrapping up

• After the final draw, the offline Secret Santa is complete
• The data disappears automatically – nothing is saved
